    Northline are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team at the Smithfield site. Provide support and guidance to the team of Storepersons and deliver on Northline’s values of Safety, Connected, Integrity, Innovation and Customer Delight to one of our major customers.

    As the Warehouse Supervisor your duties will include:

    • Organise, monitor and control the warehouse operation, ensuring the highest standards of  safety, service efficiency & accuracy and minimum cost to Northline;
    • Organise and supervise stock checks and stocktakes as per customer and Northline requirements;
    • Review reports, investigate anomalies and provide possible recommendations for improvements;
    • Through collaboration with the site manager: ensure daily performance is on track, with all new business implemented and managed seamlessly, employee management in accordance with Northline’s policies;
    • Supervising daily tasks and functions, e.g. timely processing/picking/dispatch of orders;
    • Complying with company workplace safety policies and procedures;
    • Administration duties (producing reports);
    • Customer relationships: maintain both external and internal working relationships and manage customer accounts;
    • Drive improvements in warehouse processes and compliance.

    As a successful candidate you will have:

    • A current and valid Forklift Licence (LF);
    • The ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment;
    • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy of information;
    • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to work under strict time constraints;
    • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel and Word;
    • Previous experience in poor performance and people management;
    • Experience maintaining professional relationships with internal and external customers.
