    Are you passionate about connecting talented individuals with exciting career opportunities? Northline are seeking a customer service focused Recruitment Officer to join the HR team, where you will support our Hiring Managers in shaping the future of our workforce.

    Reporting to the HR Manager – Operations, this position will be permanent part time working Monday to Friday, approximately 6 hours per day (we are happy to be flexible for the right candidate).

    As the Recruitment Officer you will be one of the first touchpoints for our candidates, providing a stellar first impression and a glimpse of what is it like to work as part of the Northline family.  You will be passionate about providing a wonderful candidate experience and an efficient and supportive recruitment service to our Hiring Managers.  You will use your exceptional communication skills, creative thinking, and understanding of recruitment processes to ensure a seamless and efficient hiring experience for all involved.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Building professional and collaborative working relationships with our Hiring Managers, to understand resourcing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
    • Sourcing and attracting candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
    • Screening resumes and conducting initial phone interviews to assess candidate suitability.
    • Coordinating interviews and assessments between candidates and Hiring Managers.
    • Managing candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication and guidance.
    • Conducting reference checks and background screenings checks.
    • Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve our processes.
    • Development and maintenance of recruitment templates and guidelines as well as a library of interview questions.

    As the successful candidate you will have:

    • A demonstrated commitment to customer service and the ability to build professional working relationships.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and MS Office Suite.
    • High level of professionalism and integrity.

    And the following attributes are desirable but not mandatory:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related.
    • Proven experience in recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
    • An understanding of recruitment processes, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
