    We are seeking an energetic and passionate PM Operations Manager to join our team and provide critical support across our Sydney business. If you're ready to lead and develop a team, drive safety and efficiency, and optimise operations join the Northline family today!

    This role requires someone with excellent leadership skills with the ability to build a team that is united and delivers on our values of Safety, Integrity, Connected, Innovation and Customer Delight.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

      • Compliance & Safety Mindset:  leads frontline workers to ensure team operates confidently and safely. Initiates regular and proactive discussions with team on safety matters to embed a health, safety & wellbeing culture.
      • Operations Efficiency: Ensures the team is focused on the key priorities to support the delivery of effective outcomes that drive financial performance and meet customer needs.  
      • Operational Management:  Plans and prioritises activities for the team to work efficiently and maintain customer centricity and quality of work.
      • Leadership & Development: Demonstrates, enables and holds others accountable for nurturing inclusivity and behaviours aligned with the Northline values. Disseminates key organisational messages to their team and shares/ escalates relevant information to their manager from their team. Designs and implements assignments to generate learning and development for their team.

     

    Key Competencies & Technical Requirements:

      • Professional Integrity: Demonstrate trustworthiness, professionalism, and a customer-centric approach to problem solving.
      • Industry Knowledge: Have an advanced understanding of the national freight industry with strong operational management experience.

      • KPI Achievement: Track record of meeting KPIs, financial performance, and team goals.

      • Negotiation & Conflict Resolution: Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills with a demonstrated ability to manage performance issues effectively.
