    This is a diverse, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of maintenance, grounds keeping, warehouse support and facility upkeep. No two days are the same, and you will play an important role in ensuring our depot remains safe, clean, organised and operating efficiently.

    Shifts starting from 3:00 pm or 5:00 pm

    If you take pride in your work, enjoy working independently, and are willing to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed, we would love to hear from you.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Container unpacking and freight handling
    • Remove and secure load restraint straps from vehicles
    • Assist with loading and unloading activities as required
    • Grounds keeping and general site presentation
    • Operating yard sweeping equipment
    • Waste and rubbish removal
    • Pressure cleaning and hosing of depot areas
    • Performing routine repairs and maintenance tasks
    • General property and facility maintenance
    • Supporting warehouse and depot operations as required
    • Following safe work procedures and company policies at all times

    About you

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • Experience in a similar maintenance, facilities, warehouse or handy person role
    • A practical, hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills
    • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • A strong work ethic and commitment to reliability and punctuality
    • Good physical fitness and willingness to undertake manual tasks
    • A commitment to workplace health and safety
    • Basic administration and record-keeping skills
    • A current driver's licence, your own reliable vehicle and basic tools
    • Flexibility to work additional hours or adjust work days when required

     

    Highly Desirable

    • Forklift Licence
    • Experience within the Transport and Logistics industry
    • Trades background or significant maintenance experience
    • White Card
    • Ability to read and interpret measurements and units of measure
