    Northline is a leading logistics and supply chain solutions provider, committed to delivering excellence in freight services. We are currently seeking a PM Shift Team Leader to lead our team in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of freight at our Mount Louisa location.


    As the PM Team Leader, you will oversee a small but dynamic team and manage the safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Leading and demonstrating safe operation of forklifts, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
    • Ensuring inbound and outbound freight is accurately scanned, sorted, and safely loaded/unloaded to maximize load revenue.
    • Monitoring and managing freight handling to reduce revenue leakage and ensure compliance with legislative requirements (load mass, load restraint).
    • Ensuring all freight is handled with zero damage within set time limits and that all required documentation is properly completed.
    • Maintaining a tidy and organised yard, ensuring that all pallets, load restraints, and dunnage are correctly accounted for and placed in the appropriate locations.
    • Promoting a culture of safety, working toward zero near-miss incidents or accidents, and fostering strong professional relationships within the team.

    Key Competencies & Technical Requirements:

    • Current and valid Class LF Forklift Licence (High Risk Work Licence).
    • Proven experience in forklift operation within a similar environment or industry.
    • Demonstrated ability to safely load and unload freight, including oversized, non-palletised, and irregular items.
    • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
    • Ability to work autonomously, with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
    • A commitment to achieving targets and maintaining high operational standards.
