We are excited to announce an internal opportunity for the role of Branch Administrator at our Townsville Depot. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our depot and supports the success of our team by overseeing the daily administration and financial processes. You will interact daily with drivers, visitors, and customers, providing them with exceptional service and ensuring their safety.

Key Responsibilities:
Process Management: Complete administrative tasks such as data entry, manifesting, report generation, and compliance with checklists to ensure all operational processes are followed and deadlines are met.
Financials: Manage branch finances including monitoring the Branch Pallet Account, handling Accounts Payable, and ensuring timely processing of carrier invoices, Purchase Orders, and General Ledger (GL) reports. Ensure the checking of all connotes for correct rates and accuracy weekly, and follow-up on all freight without a connote to maximise revenue.
Reporting & Analysis: Generate and review key reports such as Daily Load Reports, Weekly Lane Analysis Report (LAR), In-Depot Reports, and Weekly Branch Reports to ensure accuracy and revenue maximisation. Ensure all relevant data, information and documents are accurately entered into the electronic system/s and balanced against any required forms of tracking and measurement.
Customer service: Provide a prompt, efficient and friendly service to all drivers, visitors and customers entering the depot, providing necessary site safety instructions where required.
Operational Support: Provide support in areas of Rail and Fleet management. Role also entails areas of direct management such as container control. Assist with country manifesting, deliveries & subcontractor relations, as well as CSO functions as required.
Employee Onboarding: Assist to ensure all team members are adequately trained, and aware of safety protocols.
Communication: Build and maintain good working relationships, acting as a liaison between all depot departments - Warehouse, Operations AM/PM. Ensure clear and effective communication regarding operational matters and challenges to sales, service centre and management.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within administration processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational efficiencies.

Industry Knowledge: A good understanding of the national freight industry and the ability to navigate operational challenges effectively.
Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with a proven ability to provide excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Organisation: Proven experience working with KPIs and targets, with strong time management and organisational skills.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with company-specific software (S2, SitePass, InControl) is highly regarded.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in data entry and financial processes. Ability to multi task, and assist the team where needed.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of literacy and numeracy.
