    AM Operations Supervisor

    We are currently on the lookout for a dynamic and dedicated AM Operations Supervisor to join our team at our new depot in Bundamba! As our AM Operations Supervisor, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient unloading of linehaul trailers and containers, and the effective unloading of PUD vehicles.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maximise Efficiency: Ensure trailers and units are loaded to full capacity, distribute freight accurately, and oversee all unloading activities.
    • Collaborate and Support: Work closely with the AM Operations Manager to address concerns related to revenue, loads, and site operations.
    • Lead and Guide: Supervise AM Forklift Operators and Receiving Officers, focusing on safety, scanning accuracy, and minimizing freight damage.
    • Monitor and Report: Keep a keen eye on revenue, load accuracy, costs, and service issues, and work towards providing effective solutions.
    • Ensure Compliance: Maintain safe load procedures, adherence to Chain of Responsibility, and ensure equipment and resource efficiency.

    Key Competencies:

    • Proven supervisory experience within the freight industry.
    • Strong judgment skills with the ability to make firm and fair decisions.
    • Excellent communication and people management skills.
    • Ability to achieve KPIs and targets, with a customer-centric approach.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good time management skills.
