    HR and MC Drivers

    Northline are on the lookout for HR and MC Drivers to join our Darwin team. Ideally you will enjoy working in a small team, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong multi-tasking skills. We currently have permanent full-time positions available, Monday to Friday, commencing from approx. 6/7am.

    As an experienced HR and MC Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of freight to Northline’s customers as well as loading and unloading a variety of freight.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accurate and timely delivery of customer’s freight;
    • Ensure freight and deliveries match up and are consistent with current paperwork;
    • Constant communication with the depot (manager/supervisor);
    • Maintaining a truck log to align with current state legislation;
    • Operating a forklift;
    • Manual handling of freight and curtain gates.

     

    As a successful candidate you will:

    • Hold a current and valid HR, HC or MC Licence;
    • Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF)
    • Be physically fit to handle repetitive lifting of freight/opening and closing of curtains;
    • Transport industry experience with general freight carriers is highly regarded;
    • Experience working in physically demanding conditions and fast-paced environment;
    • An awareness of Load Restraint and Dangerous Goods will be highly regarded.
