Northline are seeking experienced Forklift drivers to join our Darwin team. Ideally you will enjoy working in a small team, have strong multi-tasking skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

As an experienced Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of PUD, linehaul and containers with a variety of freight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading a range of general interstate freight, including oversized, blended and long length to legal capacity and blend freight to achieve maximum payloads;
• Loading and unload mezzanine floor trailers, line-haul trailers, local vehicles and containers;
• Manual handling;
• Ensure yard/working areas are kept organised and tidy;
• Following safe operating procedures and comply with company policy.

As a successful candidate you will:

• Hold a valid Forklift Licence (LF);
• Experience operating a Forklift in a similar environment or industry;
• Experience loading/unloading a variety of freight including oversized, ugly, long lengths, general and non-palletised freight;
• Be able to manually handle freight up to 20kgs;
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
• Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised.
