    Northline are currently seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead and support our team on the afternoon shift in Perth.

    As the Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the smooth and efficient operations, leading a team of Forklift Operators and General Hands in the safe, timely and efficient loading and unloading of linehaul and PUD vehicles.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Previous experience in a hands-on supervisory role, ideally in the transport and logistics industry.
    • Excellent judgement skills and proven ability to make firm, fair and consistent decisions with integrity.
    • Proven history of developing and maintaining key relationships ideally in the transport and logistics industry.
    • Demonstrated ability to achieve set KPI’s and targets (including individual and team goals).
    • Excellent communication and people supervisory skills.
    • Demonstrated experience with poor performance management and disciplinary actions in line with procedures.
    • Excellent time management skills coupled with resilience and adaptability.
    • Moderate levels of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and provide guidance, training and direction to a team of Forklift Operators and General Hands for their day-to-day operations.
    • Through leadership and direction, meet or exceed set operational targets for (including but not limited to) transit times, load and unload times, Check, Weigh, Cube (CWC), scanning accuracy, damages, pallet non-conformances, and split consignments.
    • The completion of compliance reports and declarations including Dangerous Goods, linehaul safety checklist and load compliance, inbound report, daily movement register.
    • Ensure team are assessed and deemed competent in all required VOC’s as well as compliance training.
    • Assist the Operations Manager with (including but not limited to) depot maintenance and housekeeping, incident reporting, inductions and training, poor performance/behaviour concerns.
