    Are you an experienced Fleet Allocator or Fleet Controller who thrives in a fast-paced transport environment? Join our East Arm team and play a key role in ensuring the efficient scheduling and operation of our Pick-Up and Delivery (PUD) fleet.

    In this role, you will help deliver outstanding service to our internal Freight, Warehousing, and Distribution customers by coordinating fleet movements, supporting drivers, and ensuring operational excellence across the network.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Fleet Scheduling: Efficiently plan and schedule pick-up and delivery runs through Orcoda to maximise fleet performance, ensuring punctuality and accuracy.
    • Driver Coordination: Maintain constant communication with drivers, assisting with job allocation and ensuring accurate loading and timely deliveries.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods licences, Driver Fatigue Laws, and all safety standards.
    • KPI Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including missed pick-ups, return times, and overall fleet performance.
    • Problem Solving: Address any missed or delayed pick-ups and implement corrective actions immediately. Manage special delivery requests and priority freight as required.
    • Fleet Presentation & Safety: Ensure the fleet is well maintained, meets safety standards, and adheres to load restraint and fatigue management guidelines.

    What You'll Bring

    • Attention to Detail: Excellent planning abilities with strong attention to detail and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
    • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to delegate, lead, and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders.
    • Time Management: Exceptional time management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
    • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the Transport and Logistics industry, particularly in fleet scheduling or dispatch, is highly desirable.
    • Systems Knowledge: Experience using computerised dispatch systems and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of NHVR Fatigue Management or BFM, Load Restraint Guidelines, and Dangerous Goods handling will be highly regarded.
