Northline is seeking an enthusiastic individual, with a passion for creating brilliant people experiences and who enjoys being challenged to fill this newly created role. This role will suit someone who is looking to develop their career and gain experience in the core HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
Reporting to the HR Manager you will be working within a highly integrated and adaptive team that values connectedness, integrity and continuous improvement. With a broad focus, supporting the recruitment, organisational development and HR functions, this role has opportunity to expand and be a platform for an aspiring HR professional.
The HR Officer duties will include:
Assisting with recruitment activities including advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, managing pre-employment processes.
Supporting the coordination of our traineeship, graduate and professional development programs.
Supporting the onboarding processes for new employees and internal movements.
Providing guidance on HR policies and supporting employee relations administration including warning letters and policy queries.
Assisting in the continuous improvement of the HR function through projects and policy development.
Ensuring data integrity in the HR system and maintaining accurate employee records.
Collating and analysing HR data to produce reports and dashboards for informed decision-making.
Ensuring the maintenance of compliance records such as police clearances, training records, medicals, visa statuses.
Identifying and contributing ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
A proactive, collaborative attitude and a genuine interest in people and HR best practices.
Confidence in handling sensitive information with discretion.
A positive and open-minded attitude, with the willingness to learn and grow in a busy and fast-paced environment
The proven ability to organise, prioritise and plan effectively
An HR Degree/Diploma/Certificate (desired)
HR admin experience (advantageous)
Working knowledge of HRIS Systems and proficiency in MS Office programs
