Are you ready to drive daily pickup and delivery requirements for regional Western Australia? Northline are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Perth Team as a Country Coordinator.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of our daily pick-up and delivery operations via our extensive Agent network.
Based at our state-of-the-art depot in Kenwick, this is a great opportunity for someone has excellent communications and rapport building skills and is motivated to strive for improvements and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence: Ensure all consignment pick-ups and deliveries adhere to transit guidelines and are completed efficiently.
Process Improvement: Streamline administrative and operational processes to optimize allocation of pick-ups and deliveries.
Compliance Management: Oversee safe loading/unloading of Agent vehicles, ensuring adherence to pallet control and Proof of Delivery (POD) integrity.
Cost Efficiency: Monitor and reconcile Agent costs at consignment level, ensuring accurate billing and revenue capture.
Performance Goals: Achieve operational objectives in scanning, damage reduction, and Delivery in Full, On Time (DIFOT) metrics.
Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with Agents and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Regulatory Adherence: Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, providing guidance and training as needed.
Key Competencies:
Regional Expertise: Excellent knowledge of Western Australian regional locations.
Organizational Skills: Proven ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks effectively.
Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of fatigue management, Dangerous Goods (DGs) compliance, and Chain of Responsibility (CoR).
Analytical Skills: Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency: Intermediate computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
