As the Fleet Supervisor you will play a pivotal role in the continued implementation and optimisation of our new logistics management system, Orcoda, whilst leading a small team of Fleet Controllers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive change, improve efficiency and continue to delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Fleet Controllers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective management of the Pick-up and Delivery (PUD) Fleet.
Champion the ongoing implementation and utilisation of Orcoda, enhancing operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement.
Monitor fleet performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimisation, cost reduction and process improvement.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and Northline policies, maintain high standards to safety, quality and customer service.
Generate regular reports and analysis to track fleet performance, identifying trends and make data-driven decisions.
Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), including missed pick-ups, return times, and overall fleet performance, and provide daily reports to the management team outlining the day’s outcomes and KPIs.
Conduct training sessions for employees to familiarise them with Orcoda’s features and functionalities, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development
As the successful candidate you will have:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or related (preferred)
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in fleet management or logistics operations
Demonstrated experience using a logistics management systems and Microsoft Office suite;
Knowledge of the Adelaide Metro Area (highly regarded);
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive results.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to delegate effectively;
Effective time-management skills coupled with resilience, adaptability and the ability to multitask;
Comprehensive understanding of Chain of Responsibility compliance;
Experience working in an environment with a commitment to Health, Safety & Environment practices
Comprehensive understanding of Chain of Responsibility compliance, Load Restraint, Dangerous Goods and Fatigue Management.
